With the credit crunch biting we all need a bit extra cash. It may be that you are just curious to see how much your plate could be worth. Whatever your reason for listing your plate it, does not mean you need to sell it, but it’s a good place to start!

It couldn't be easier as all you have to do it register with us and add details of the number plate(s) you own together with 'key words' which will make it easier for potential buyers to find the perfect plate for them. The key to selling a plate is to make suggestions in the form of these 'key words' which will make it easier for others to find a plate that’s ideal for them – but they may not have thought of.

For example, if you type in a key word such as 'plumber', how good would it be to receive a list of suggested plates such as TAP5 or P1PES or W4TER? The buyer may not have thought of one or more of those plates but by suggesting key words that match something he types in you could find your plate selling much more quickly, or for more money! If you have the plate TH03 JAM for example, you could input key words such as Jam, Mod or Weller. If you own M1 XSA you could say Mick, Mike, Michael, Micky, Mixer, Mix, DJ, Disc Jockey or even Cement. That's the beauty of the search engine – it helps you suggest appropriate number plates to others. Be as creative as you can!

Buyers could also search against your plate itself of course. Similar plates would also be shown as well as any that match the search requirements.

By listing your plate you are inviting other users to make an offer to buy the plate from you. If you get that magic price then you sell or rejct to start to negotiate a price with the potential buyer. If that magic numder is not met, then you do not have to sell.
